Common questions

Does the app need an account or internet?
No. There is no sign-in and the app makes no network requests. All questions ship inside the app.
How do I get into parent mode?
Tap Parent mode on the profile screen. The first time, you create a 4–8 digit PIN. Parent mode has the dashboard, reward deals, activity history, kid profiles, settings, and exports.
I forgot the parent PIN.
The PIN is stored only on your device as a cryptographic hash, so it cannot be recovered or reset remotely. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app clears the PIN, but also removes all profiles and progress. Export a backup from parent mode first if you still have access.
How do I change my kid's grade or daily goal?
Parent mode → Settings. You can set the grade, how many new questions to introduce per day, and nudge the difficulty gentler or harder.
Why do questions my kid already got right come back?
That's the spaced-repetition schedule. A question returns right before it would be forgotten, at longer and longer intervals, until it is mastered. Correct answers push it further out; misses bring it back sooner.
Can more than one kid use the app?
Yes. Add profiles from the profile screen. Each kid has their own progress, streak, badges and schedule.
How do I back up or move progress to a new phone?
Parent mode → Settings → Export. The backup file can be shared anywhere you like. The app never uploads it.
How do I delete a kid's data?
Parent mode → Kids → delete the profile. That permanently removes everything for that child. Uninstalling the app removes everything.
I think a question has the wrong answer.
Please email the question text and what you think the answer should be. Every report is checked and fixes ship in the next update.
